Dire Straits were an English rock band from Deptford, England. Members of Dire Straits were Mark Knopfler (lead vocals and lead guitar), John Illsley, Pick Withers, David Knopfler, Alan Clark, Hal Lindes, Terry Williams, Guy Fletcher, Jack Sonni and Chris White. Mark Knopfler's younger brother David Knopfler played rhythm guitar and performed backing vocals for the band. Dire Straits' hits included 'Brothers In Arms', 'Sultans of Swing' and 'Money for Nothing'. The band disbanded in 1995.

Pink (Singer)

Alecia Beth Moore (born September 8, 1979). better known by her stage name Pink (stylized as P!nk), is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Originall a member of the girl group Choice. she began her solo career with 2000 single "There You Go" which was included in her debut album, Can't Take Me Home, released later that year/ The R&B album went on to be certified double-platinum in the United States. She gained further recognition upon collaborating with Lil' Kim, Christina Aguilera and Mya for a cover of "Lady Marmalade" for the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack. That cover earned Pink her first Grammy Award (for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals) as well as her first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.

Little Mix are a girl band from the UK. They formed in 2011. Members of Little Mix are: Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.

ELO

ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) were a rock band from Birmingham, England. Their songs included 'Mr. Blue Sky', 'Showdown', 'Strange Magic' and 'Xanadu'. On Mr. Blue Sky, there is a well known line at the end. The line is mistakenly thought to be "Mr. Blue Skyyyy", when it is actually sayinh "Please turn me oveeerrrrr!", instructing the user of the ELO vinyl LP to turn the record over to the other side.

Gentlemen is another song from Psy. "Gentlemen" is a K-pop song by South Korean musician Psy that got released on April 12, 2013 (KST), serving as his 19th single. It is follow-up to his international hit single "Gangnam Style", which at the time of "Gentlemen"'s release had been viewed on YouTube over 1.5 billion times.

Daft Punk

Daft Punk are a French electro music duo from Paris, France. Daft Punk consists of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. Daft Punk make heavy use of voice vocoders in their songs. For example, on the song 'Around the World', a robotic voice is used saying "Around the World" in continuous chains. The phrase is the only 3 lyrics within the song and the phrase itself is said in the full length version of the song 144 times. The radio edit says the phrase 80 times. There are 2 versions of 'Around the World', the radio edit and the original version. The radio edit is 3:55 long whilst the album version is 7:08 long. On 'Around the World', the bassline is very steady and the tune is written in E minor, with the bassline being played using the A dorian mode. Daft Punk also released hits such as 'Get Lucky', 'One More Time' and 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger'.

Colleen Martin (born December 23, 1975), professionally known as Lady Starlight, is an American musical performer. She has toured three times and is best known for her numerous collaborations with Lady Gaga. She was raised in upstate New York. She moved to new York City in 2001, at the age of 26.

Fleetwood Mac are an English-American band from London, England. Fleetwood Mac consists of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. The band formed in 1967 and have hits such as "Little Lies", "The Chain", "Go Your Own Way", "Dreams" and "Everywhere". "The Chain" was released in 1977 and the track was used as a theme tune to the F1 coverage on the BBC until the late 1990s.

1D are an English boy band from London, England. 1D consists of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson. 1D's hits include "What Makes You Beautiful" and "One Thing".

Radiohead

Radiohead are an English rock band from Abingdon, England. Radiohead has 5 members: Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien and Philip Selway. Radiohead released "Creep" in 1992. They also released "Karma Police" and "High and Dry". The song 'Creep' consists of the chords G, B, C and C minor throughout the song. The volume of the song gets quieter towards the end. However, during the chorus, Johnny Greenwood (one of the band members) plays 3 short blasts of dead guitar noise. This was done because he did not approve of how quiet the song was. A clean version of the song was released as a radio edit, changing the swearword in the chorus of the song to 'very'.

Beyoncé Knowles

Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter, simply known as Beyonce (born September 4, 1981) is an American recording artist and actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child, and rose to fame in the late 1990s as lead singer of R&B girl-group Destiny's Child. managed by her father Mathew Knowles, the group became one of the worlds best selling girl groups of all time.

Take That are an English pop group consisting of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams. Barlow acts as the lead singer and primary songwriter. JLS

JLS were an English boy band from London, England. The band consisted of members JB Gill, Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold and Oritsé Williams. JLS's hits included "Love You More" and "Everybody in Love". The band announced that they were splitting up on 24th April 2013, their last book called Forever and a Day, One Last Goodbye X was released on 24th October 2013. The band's last ever concert was on 22nd December 2013 on the final evening of their "Goodbye - The Greatest Hits" tour.

The Beatles

The Beatles are an English 1960's rock band from Liverpool, England. The band consisted of members Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. 

The Beatles were popular during the 1960s but are still popular in Liverpool today. The Beatles wrote many hits including "She Loves You", "Yesterday", "Eleanor Rigby", "Get Back" and "I Want to Hold Your Hand" as well as "Don't Let Me Down".

The La's

The La's are an English pop band from Liverpool, England. Their main hits include "There She Goes" and "Son of a Gun". The lead singer of the band is Lee Mavers. "There She Goes" was released in the UK in 1988 and contains no verses.

Psy

Park Jae-sang better known by his stage name Psy, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, record producer and television personality. Psy is known domestically for his humorous videos and stage performances, and internationally for his hit single "Gangnam Style".

"Gangnam Style" is the 18th k-pop single by the South Korean musician Psy. The song was released in July 2012 as the lead single of his sixth studio album Psy 6 (Six Rules). On December 21, 2012 "Gangam Style" became the first YouTube video to reach billion views. As of December 31, 2013, the music video has been viewed over 1.864 billion times on YouTube. The song is famous for its dance.
